I speak of my form master in the present tense, for to me he remains an ever-living landmark, a constant presence that lights my way — both in the perfecting of my own artistic creation and in the noble profession of teaching. From a true mentor you learn not only how to teach, but how to live art. All that he gave us — his vibrant personality and his teachings — is the most precious inheritance. These gifts break through in every line I draw, in the joy with which I prepare the canvas for creation, and are reflected in the way I, in turn, guide and shape the young artists I work with.

Graduate of the National University of Art in Bucharest, painting section; doctor in Visual Arts and a full member of the Artists' Union. In her work she uses varied techniques, from the traditional (oil and acrylic painting, graphic and mixed media) to video installations and photography. She has shown in solo and group exhibitions in Romania and in international collective exhibitions.
