Fortunei Street
Strada fortunei

A row of old houses stretches along a street, seen from the corner: the larger one at the right has cream walls, tall windows in carmine frames and a rusty metal roof with two chimneys; beside it a porch with dark glazing, and further on two more houses with white and pink façades. In front, a slender sparsely leafed tree and a few bushes grow beside the wall. The foreground is a pavement and a strip of grey-green grass treated in broad strokes. The sky is an almost uniform pale blue; the red of the windows punctuates the whole composition.
