During the pandemic, Mr. Șinca appeared to me in a dream, a memory that has stayed deeply imprinted on my soul. He was about to board a plane, and from its steps someone asked him: "If you had the chance to live again, what would you do differently?". His answer, of an eloquent simplicity, was: "I would live without fear!". Those words have reverberated in me ever since, guiding my steps like a perpetual echo. Mr. Șinca was, to me, like a caring parent, watching over all of us, his pupils. He often told me he was fond of me because I came from Aluniș, the village next to Pietriceaua.

She was a pupil in the last class for which Mr. Șinca was form master, between 2003 and 2007. She is now working on her watercolour painting project, Ilustradele, which explores themes such as self-love, botanical plant painting and astrological elements.
