Ion Șinca… the form master… "nea Ion"! The metamorphosis of a teacher–pupil–graduate bond, expressed simply and with the utmost parental warmth. If we were to give a definition of gentleness, we would be speaking of the form master! We were his "little ones" (that is how he addressed us), whom he raised with care. I remember what he told me after graduation: "That's enough, don't call me «sir» any more — call me «nea Ion»". Nea Ion, your little one holds you in her thoughts, with love and longing!

Graduate of the Ploiești Art High School (class of 2007), she studied easel painting under Mr. Ion Șinca. Between 2007 and 2012 she attended the Faculty of Economic Sciences (UPG Ploiești), and in 2020 she returned to art, admitted to the National University of Arts in Bucharest, Ceramics section; she is now taking a master's in Glass. She has taken part, among others, in the Decorative Arts Salon 2023 (Cotroceni National Museum), the Blue Biennale 2023 (Brașov) and the Glass Salon (2022, 2023). She is drawn to stained glass and to painting icons on wood.
