The teacher and artist Ion Șinca resonates in me through his human gentleness, his professional vocation, his firmness and, at the same time, the sensitivity of his artistic gesture. The word "little brave one" reminds me of the encouragement Mr. Șinca gave me at the creation camp organized by the Ploiești Art High School in Nucșoara (Argeș County). He stood by me and encouraged me to explore various techniques in colour. I am deeply grateful to him. In that school I met teachers of true vocation who guided generations along the path of the visual arts.
