Ion Șinca helped me and prepared me for admission to the art high school, and what surprised me most was the calm, gentleness and patience he showed with us. He was one of the few teachers from whom I truly received support and encouragement.

In high school he studied Ceramics, then discovered an attraction to photography and the Visual Arts. During film school he followed the path to becoming a director of photography, working on commercials, music videos and short films — many of them screened and awarded at international film festivals.
