"The brightest image from my high-school years is Mr. Șinca at the easel, making a correction. I was fascinated to watch his hand work with broad yet swift movements. He would stop: «Do you understand, little one?…»" All my memories of him are steeped in his endless gentleness, in the calm with which he infected us all. The warmth and tenderness at the end, when he was pleased: "Braavo, little one!".

Born in 1978 in Ploiești, a visual artist and teacher of visual arts at the „Carmen Sylva” Art College in Ploiești. She was Mr. Ion Șinca's pupil at the same school between 1992 and 1996. She graduated from the University of Art, painting section (2001), and completed a doctorate in philosophy at the University of Bucharest (2013), with the thesis "Knowledge in Art. Educating aesthetic sensibility in school". She has held group and solo exhibitions at the Ploiești Art Gallery and in other cultural institutions.
